Bountiful, Utah (September 10, 2002) TFE Technology announced today that it was awarded a two year contract valued at $3.8 million to provide statewide equipment maintenance and support services for the Texas State Department of Criminal Justice computer workstations and associated peripheral equipment.

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice Information Technology and Utilities Branch has more than 20,000 items of equipment located throughout the state. Under the terms of the agreement, TFE Technology will provide equipment and software maintenance services, installations, moves and configurations on a 24-hour a day, 7 days a week basis.  The base period for this contract is two years, and allows for three additional one-year periods.

In support of this and other contracts, TFE has established additional support centers in the cities of Amarillo, Austin, Corpus Christi, Huntsville, Midland, Temple and Tyler Texas in addition to augmenting existing staff in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.
